Today we received reports from our members of an opportunistic thief in and around the Kensington park car parks and inside the Hockey Northland facility. Please lock your car and don't leave bags or clothing unattended. If you see someone interfering with cars or stealing ring the police.

It is with great sadness that we learned of Colin Thorne's passing at the age of 102. An inspiration to many and proof that staying active is possible at any age, he will be remembered fondly for his wit and positivity. Our sincerest condolences to the entire Thorne family.

Thorne became the first over-100 to complete 100 parkruns worldwide.

🚨 All Saturday Games Postponed – Cyclone Vaianu

Following ongoing concerns around Cyclone Vaianu, all Saturday games have been postponed.

This decision has been made due to unsafe travel conditions.

Player safety remains our top priority, and we believe this is the most responsible decision given the conditions.

Further updates regarding rescheduling will be shared as soon as possible.

💚🖤Maungakaramea Club Collegiate trials will be held next Wednesday the 1st of April at 5pm on Educate Turf 💚🖤

Collegiate hockey is for school students aged Year 9 - 13. We welcome all skill levels to play collegiate for our club this year, and we will endeavour to create teams to suit all registrations we receive. Collegiate games are played on a Monday night and the season is scheduled to start on the 4th of May and run through Term two and three.
