Seido Karate Whangarei Seido Karate is good for all sorts of peeps. Bring yourself, your kids (over 10), your neighbours... Seido Karate was founded by Tadashi Nakamura in 1976.

You don't have to be the biggest, the fittest, the toughest or the bendiest to do Seido Karate. Like all good martial arts, Seido is about personal development through physical and mental training. It's about helping students to find their own non-quitting attitude, to step beyond what they thought they could do to achieve something special. Now a 9th degree black belt, Kaicho Nakamura is chairman of the World Seido Karate Organization, based in New York. Over 20,000 students throughout the world are members of the Seido family. Seido Karate Whangarei is run by Sei Shihan Rob Forlong and Jun Shihan Bronwyn Dalley (both 6th degree black belts).

Kia ora koutou, quick reminder that on Saturday 27 June, two of our team are going for promotion with the Auckland Seido Karate Club whanau - Ingrid for 1st kyu and Georgia for 2nd. It would be super to see a bunch of you there to support them. Bring your sparring gear so you can really share the love. Things kick off at 9am, but be there on the dojo by about 8.45. Osu
