Well done to the Hewitt girls for their achievement over the weekend at the North Island Champs in Auckland.

Anna Hewitt placed 3rd in Individual Trampoline, 2nd in Synchro Trampoline 15+ Women’s, and 3rd in Junior International Double Mini Trampoline.

Rosie Hewitt placed 9th in both Individual Trampoline and DMT, and 6th in Synchro Trampoline 15+ Women’s.

Last weekend some of our Adrenaline Ju**ie Year 12Students - Jack Runciman, Sam Gavin, London-Rose Gould and Mia Baltus were competing at the National Wakeboarding Competition. The team dominated with the results below;

Girls u18
London -2nd

Boys U18
Jack - 2nd
Sam - 3rd

Unfortunately Mia boke her leg in the very first run of the day - we keep her in our prayers for a speedy recovery!

Congratulations to Claudia Skelton and Nikita Briden-Jones on being selected as part of the wider U18s Women's Training group! 👏

Hockey Northland would like to congratulate the players who have been selected to be part of the wider training group for the Northland 2026 Women's U18 team. The National U18 women's Tournament will be in Palmerston North this year 5–11 July.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to trial for the U18 Women’s team. It was great to see such a high level of talent, effort, and enthusiasm across the group — our association has an exciting future ahead.

This week we were excited to host Tikipunga High School for our annual Year 7&8 exchange, Netball, Basketball, Touch/Rippa and Football! All teams played amazingly and we retained the shield for another year - we wllok forward to heading to Tiki next year for another challenge.

Te Rauroha P**i (Year 11) swam at NAGs (National age groups) over the recent break and came away with another outstanding performance!

Te won the prestigious SNZ Life Members Award for the most significant performance at National Age Groups by qualifying for Junior Pan PACs by over a second also breaking the NZ Age record!
He also won gold in 50m , 100m and 200m Backstroke, 200m IM, 200m Butterfly and Silver in 100m Butterfly 🤯🤯🤯🤯
