Update - have a lot of drink bottles some with names - they are now in the tunnel. Huanui College Jacket (Indie Blaney), Huanui Jersey (Nicco?), KIS Jacket E Watts?). WBHS Jacket (Elijah Hovell), plus many other kids jackets. If you are missing anything please come in and see us to collect. After a month we have to pass them on.

🏑 2026 Northland Women's NHC Campaign – Expression of Interest Now Open

Hockey Northland is inviting Expressions of Interest from players who wish to be considered for the 2026 Northern Regional Representative League and the 2026 Northland Women's National Hockey Championship (NHC) campaign.

The Northern Regional Representative League will run throughout July and August 2026, providing a high-level representative environment and valuable preparation leading into the National Hockey Championship.

The 2026 Ford National Hockey Championship will be hosted in Wellington from Sunday 13 September to Saturday 19 September 2026, with associations from across New Zealand competing to determine the country's strongest-performing hockey regions in 2026.

Completing this Expression of Interest allows Hockey Northland to gauge player availability and interest in the campaign. It does not commit you to participation, and final team selection will be made by the appointed selectors.

Players aged 18 years or older as at 1 January 2026 who meet Hockey New Zealand eligibility requirements are encouraged to put their names forward.

Indicative campaign costs, based on previous years, are approximately $1,650 per player.

🏑 2026 Northland Men's NHC Campaign – Expression of Interest Now Open

Hockey Northland is now seeking Expressions of Interest from players who wish to be considered for the 2026 Northern Regional Representative League and the 2026 Northland Men's National Hockey Championship (NHC) campaign.

The Northern Regional Representative League will be contested throughout July and August 2026, providing valuable high-performance competition through home and away fixtures ahead of the National Hockey Championship.

The 2026 Ford National Hockey Championship will be held in Wellington from Sunday 13 September to Saturday 19 September 2026, bringing together the country's strongest hockey associations to compete for national honours.

This Expression of Interest is designed to help Hockey Northland identify players interested in being part of the campaign. Submission of this form does not commit you to the programme, and final team selection remains at the discretion of the selectors.

Players aged 18 years or older as at 1 January 2026 who are eligible under Hockey New Zealand's tournament regulations are encouraged to register their interest.

Indicative campaign costs, based on previous years, are approximately $1,650 per player.

LOST HOCKEY STICK

Unfortunately a player's stick was placed in the lost property at around 10:30am on Saturday while its owner was coaching a junior team. The stick had gone by 11am.

It's needed for his collegiate game on Monday. If you picked it up, please contact the Hockey Northland office.

Last Friday on Educare Turf a GKs helmet has been accidentally packed into the wrong gear bag. As there are four teams occupying the dugouts sometimes it is unavoidable that this will occur. Huanui played TKIS Girls. So it was Kwik Sticks in the dugouts. Could you have a look in your gear bags and Huanui would be grateful if you have an extra helmet if it can be returned to the HN office.
