Dundee update, after a few weeks off, its great to see Dundee come back in so nicely, Happy days!
Dundee is looking for a suitable experienced horsey home to carry on with his training. We would describe him as a project type, a sensitive but brave and very capable pony. He is approx 14h, but wide!

When we first met Dundee he was really worried around mounting. It is fantastic to see him take it all in his stride today, after weeks off.

He is in high green bracket currently 💚

Such incredibly thoughtful drivers and motorcyclists today on the roads, it is noticed and appreciated greatly.
Today Shannon and Tinky joined us, it was fantastic saying hello to those that came out to meet the horses, we enjoyed a lovely cuppa at Ajs, the horses were treated to carrots 🥕 and then we wandered back home. All in all - a day well spent.

Sharing the journey ✨️

I see you. I see the journey. I see the horse loving heart and soul, the brave and bold young rider inside, the feeling of freedom on horseback.

I am so delighted when I see meaningful work with horses, and when patience and care gives the wonderful result of a kind and willing horse.

Dot has been there done that - Look at her go in her younger years!
The bold brave woman she is shows in the work she has put in with Sky, this has not been an easy road.
Today after many, many years, Dot and Sky jumped a barrel together, Sky looked after her 100% ❤️ and Sky only recently learned to jump !

Those of us who have returned to riding in adulthood, or after an scary incident can understand the journey of becoming again what was there all along 🥰

As for Sky, he just blew us all away today with his confidence. Once again we were humbled watching the grace and trust that horses freely offer.

Well done Dot and Sky. 🎉🎉🎉

Today was Wilbur and Pjs first road trip, and Vinnies 2nd road ride, thank you once again to all of the amazing considerate drivers. It is most appreciated 🩷

Sarcoids.
This is a pre treatment and 3 months post treatment comparison of a sarcoid above the eye. A very tricky spot, initially the sarcoid initially presented as a bit of a bald spot in the area, which grew rather quickly to what you see below.
Given the fragile and delicate area of the eye, his mum Elle and her vet team looked at all treatment options.
Chemotherapy was chosen, and with expert advice from vets overseas her wonderful vet team here admistered 5 rounds of Chemotherapy in the area.
3 months later, we can see a significant result.

This was the first time we have seen a sarcoid above the eye on a horse, quite an unusual one, i think with things like this it is really helpful to share information as someone may be in a similar situation with thier own horse, and looking at treatment options.

We are all so happy for Mr Max and Elle van Harlingen ❤️ Such an awesome result 👏
