Awesome to catch up with Mark 'Ziggy' Seymour today. Not only did he sign my 2 centurians jerseys and hat but also his rugby cards from the 1990s... I remember him been a good player but then hated him cause he went to Southland of all places. We dont support like that anymore as once a Taniwha or Kauri always a Taniwha or Kauri.

Im proud of Moana Pasifika and call myself a fan, week on week out plying thier trade competing against the best.... didnt quite get the result but the effort was there.... good to run into everyone including all the Tani boys even Heremiah Murray, gave Jeff Toomaga Allen a stack of his cards and got Jeff Wilson to sign 30+ cards and Tana signed 10 or so... win or lose.....

Popped down to support some womens rugby. Today Pipiwai vs Moerewa. Awesome game Pipiwai coming leaps and bounds from thier first game.... Moerewa edging Pipwai 24-17 I think.....

Was awesome to catch Aroha Savage & Carli Whaikawa afterwards to sign my 2023 Kauri jersey.... and yep got a cadd or 2 signed as well.

Doesnt have to be the ABs, super rugby or even NPC, good rugby is enjoyable.

A last minute decision to sneak down to Auckland to watch Blues vs Hurricanes. Had a blast as always. Hurricanes were just tumeke on the night in front of a pretty decent Eden Park crowd . I do love listening to Blues fans moaning about the ref etc haha.. . But again it was he tangata, he tangata, he tangata... the people. Awesome catching up with old Taniwha players, all the Tani lads who play for the blues, the Blues Aupiki squad including ex Kauri Tara Turner and Harono Te Iringa, Matthew and Marcel, mate from uni, the blues crew, Justin and James, Superhurricanesdad, the Evans, and all you others I had a yarn too. And getting even more cards signed. Man pre-season has been massive.

Well not the result the Moana boys were after. Always good catching up with the players after but also running into fellow rugby fans. ExTani Josh Moorby getting greedy on the meat pies too.... we ride the wave again in 2 weeks for the final home game.

Went down to Harbour to watch the Tanis play for Moana and the Blues. Four tries and a bonus point to the Taniwha lads. And awesome to see Terrell make his debut. Great crowd too. Plus gave Jackson Garden-Bachop copies of his old man's cards. Shout out to Robbie for driving us down there this week! Up the Tanis!!

A super weekend with it all...epic games, great vibes, extra time, Mexican waves, Scribe, The NZ Amy Band, DJs, dancing, cup snakes, nose bleed seats, Sweet Caroline, a minute silence, stadium prices, the cheers, hotdogs, deep fried pies, sing alongs, supporter banter and loads of rugby.
Plus catching up with our mates, making some new ones, checking out our beautiful country and Christchurch bringing the vibes.
