Fight game lessons. Win, lose, or draw we take them all on the chin and grow from them.
Proud of both our boys for stepping into the fire yesterday and representing the club and wanganui.
Blaizes result wasnโt the one we wanted, but this game tests more than just skill and it was the result we needed to learn from. It tests composure, heart, and mindset under pressure. Sometimes one moment can change a fight. We go back to the drawing board, learn from it, and come back stronger. We know what youโre capable of brother, and this will fuel you into the next chapter, all apart of the plan ๐ฏ
Jayden kicked into work horse mode, showed his heart and grit, constantly pressured his opponent, stayed composed, and fought hard right to the final bell utilizing his superior clinch. In our eyes he did enough to take it, but regardless of the decision, he represented himself and the team with pride. Strong performance brother. ๐ช
Respect to both opponents, and the coaching teams at Mana Muay Thai and Philly Smoke for the dance, we all had fun.
Massive thank you to our The Umbrella Way and the Resurrection - Umbrella Alliance whanau for being super supportive in helping out with the boys during camp and on fight day, it was a pleasure to work together and do battle alongside you all.
To Tamaki, and Ezekiel ka pai o korua mahi Brothers, you guys went out there and went to war, both of you had some hard hungry opponents and you gave it your all and left it all in the ring representing the city and Umbrella well, respect and catch up soon whanau ๐
Last but not least, shout out to Hydras Eltham for the awesome banter and for capturing some of our boys moments, we appreciate you guys, much love.
And so the journey continues, back to the drawing board, we will be back โ๐
