Friday and Saturday will also see the quarterfinals of the Tasman Tanning Te Awa Wahine competition, with Byfords Construction Taihape and the AGC Marist Clovers having home games against Kia Toa and Silks Audit Rātana respectively, while Rangitikei go on the road to meet top qualifier Bush.

Whanganui Rugby would like to congratulate Lisa Kingi-Bon, who was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her services to rugby, particularly player welfare.

Lisa is the Head of VIP Support & Partnerships at the New Zealand Rugby Foundation, a charity that Whanganui Rugby holds close, as our charity of choice.

Lisa has been a passionate advocate for seriously injured rugby players and their whānau, ensuring they receive lifelong support while helping shape a safer and more inclusive game for future generations.

This recognition is a reflection of Lisa’s dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the rugby community. Her work continues to make a lasting difference to the lives of players and families across New Zealand.

We look forward to again supporting the New Zealand Rugby Foundation as our charity for our Charity Game against King Country, on October 3.
