Great Weather…. Outstanding company…. Overnighter down the Upper Whanganui, jumping into the last km of the Mangatepopo, and pulling out at Piriaka. How lucky are we to have hidden gems like this so easily accessible? Nice grade 2+ - 3 run, but unfortunately no pics of the rapids (learnt my lesson losing my new phone in Jan 🤪)

Too much coffee yesterday… cracked a rib on the kayak trailer at 0215 this morning…. Lucky I’m hiking this weekend, not kayaking!

Hey All…. My Cellphone is currently enjoying a little Matakitaki River adventure by itself…..

…. Which at some point will probably turn into a Buller River adventure and possibly a West Coast Surf experience. Spark has taken over a week so far to transfer number to a new E sim for me - so might have to wait until I hit Auckland again. If anyone needs to contact me I can respond to WhatsApp and IG messages etc when able to get wifi. Hope everyone’s having a great summer!!!!
