☀️🌸 WELCOME TO SUMMER AT WHAKATĀNE BOWLING CLUB! 🌸☀️

Well, what a fantastic day we had! The sun was shining, the bowls were rolling, plenty of laughs were had and it was a brilliant way to welcome summer! 🌞
And to top it all off, we got to announce our Winner of the winter Aggregate results! 🏆👏

Think you’ve got what it takes? 😏
Well, there’s just ONE little rule…
👉 Every team MUST have at least ONE policeman or retired policeman in it! 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️
That’s right — you only need ONE to qualify, so grab your favourite cop, ex-cop, copper, bobby, flat-foot… or whatever they like to be called these days!
The other half of the team can be completely innocent… we won’t ask too many questions. 😉🤣
🚔 One cop per team. That’s the law! 🚔
So get your team together, find your resident crime fighter and get your entries in!
Have the bragging rights and your names on this amazing trophy.

Huge congratulations to everyone who played in the Canoe Cup on Sunday!
A massive thank you to Janice and Reg for the incredible time and effort they put into making the day such a great success. Your hard work is truly appreciated.
Whakatane was proudly represented by around 15 members, with an impressive 6 players finishing in the placings. To top it off, we even had a Whakatane member in the winners' circle!🏆go you Suzie Klar.
Well done to everyone who took part and represented our club so well. We are incredibly proud of you all!

Our girls are off to a fantastic start at the National Champion of Champions Women's Fours,
with two wins today !!!
We're incredibly proud of the team and the way they're representing our club on the national stage.
