Practice will be on tomorrow but if the weather suddenly turns very wet it will be cancelled, currently looks ok though.

As long as it stay's sunny ☀️with blue skies practice will be available on Wednesday, but if the weather forecast unexpectedly changes to rain (not that it is looking like it it will) it will get cancelled.

Yesterday's club day was sunny with some wind, a smaller turnout again but those that did come were treated to some amazing baking by Alexi, Deborah and Nana Del as well as Des's amazing lunch, thanks guys.

Today we had 50 points score and then club champs for single rise and continental and then our 1/2 yearly silver pigeon shoot. In the points score we had Grant shoot a 75 in one round, Brian a 74, John and Dave a 71 and Jimmy and Allan a 70.

In the single rise in the 1st 25 we had Brian and Alexi got them all, and Jimmy, John, Fred and Dave 1 behind on 24. The next 25 had Brian getting another clean round along with Fred and Grant, Alexi, John and Dave on 24. This gave Brian HOA on 50/50, Dave 1st A on 48 and after a shoot off Jimmy was 2nd and Grant 3rd. In B grade Alexi and Fred were on 49 and after the shoot off Fred was 1st and Alexi 2nd and John was 3rd on 48.

In the continental we had Dave, Jimmy and Fred shoot a clean round, with Dave getting HOA, Jimmy 1st A and Fred 1st B. Brian was 2nd A on 23 and Grant 3rd A on 22. In B grade John was 2nd on 22 and Alexi 3rd on 21.

In the silver pigeon we had Brian, Grant and Alexi get the 15 targets with Brian winning the shoot off.

Thanks to Grant and Neil for getting the grounds ready and Jimmy for setting up and everyone else for helping pack up, your support is appreciated. See you all next month.

Well done to Alexi Wood and Grant Preston competing at the ATA ANZAC shoot in Taupo. Alexi won C grade on 188/200 and Grant won B grade on 191/200 they were competing in the 200 Bidois Singles today.
