Here is our schedule for our last Club Night of the season – Week 3 of our Club Champs.

Next week will be our final session for the season and will be our Prize Giving.

Club Champs is when we officially measure, time, and record results, so that we can recognise our athletes at Prize Giving.

Please make sure your child attends the Club Champs nights so their results can be recorded.

We will once again need some help from parents with measuring and timing, so please jump in and assist where you can to help make the night a success.

📌 Please note: The Tiny Tots programme will continue as normal.

📣 Final Club Night Reminder – Tomorrow! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
Just a reminder that tomorrow night is the final club competition night for the term for Whakatāne Athletics. It’s been a big season on the track, and it will be great to come together one last time for club night before we wrap up.

🏆 Prizegiving – Tuesday 24 March | 5:30 pm
Everyone is warmly encouraged to come along to prizegiving at 5:30 pm to celebrate the season that was. This is our chance to acknowledge the effort, commitment, improvement and achievements of our tamariki, and to reflect on what’s been a really positive season for the club.

🙏 A brief note of appreciation
A sincere thank you to the parent volunteers, club members and committee who have helped keep club nights running smoothly this term — whether lending a hand on the field, helping with set‑up and pack‑down, or stepping in where needed. Your contribution has been noticed and is very much valued. We’d love to see everyone at prizegiving as we come together to wrap up the season and acknowledge the collective effort that’s gone into making it such a positive one.

📅 Season wrap‑up
Children’s athletics will officially close for the season after prizegiving, and we’ll be back again in early October for the new season. We look forward to seeing everyone return then.

See you tomorrow night on the track, and on Tuesday 24 March 2026 5:30 pm for prizegiving 💙✨

Tonight is Week 2 of our Club Champs, and here is our schedule along with the volunteer board.
