Highrev and compkart take over the podium in the Rotax heavies at the night memorial meeting in Nelson

Dad got 3rd overall and came second in the memorial race. Before the races my kart wouldn’t start. I needed another wiring loom. thanks to Spencer Peplow’s Dad Jon for lending me a spare wiring loom. We managed to get it going but with all the rush around dad forgot to put my transponder on my kart. So that was a disqualification for heat 1. For the second, third and fourth race I was around the middle But in heat 5, I had a great battle with Roman. I was really excited for the feature race, but my kart wouldn’t start. It warmed up perfectly, but then when it was on the grid, it didn’t start. So I missed out on the last race.

Dad and I on the podium yesterday at Westland kart club! 🏁

It was really wet on the track but it was awesome racing with our wet tyres on which I haven’t done much of.. I started grid 4 and won the race 😜 then I started near the back for the last two heat races and got a 4th and a 5th.

I started 1st in the final and finished in P2! Taking home the silver trophy for the cadet rok🏆 thanks to Kayden for coming out to the track Katrina

Dad went really good even when he hasn’t race it since he blew up his brakes he started p3 and finished 2nd right behind Henrys dad touching his back bumper, then dad started p3 again and won the race, the 3rd heat he started p2 and won the race..

He started on pole for the final and got a small gap on the other karts and won the final to bring the 1st place trophy home in the Rotax heavy’s

Dirt kart season done and dusted now. Unfortunately day 2 of best in the west was cancelled due to the weather

Dad and I both won 3 from 3 race to get 1st for the day. It was cool to have my two mates there for the racing. Thanks to my mate Kayden for being the pit crew boss and it was awesome to have my mate Wyatt race with me for his first time ever we had fun at the track and a couple cans at the pub for the prize giving.
