Hi all members , supporters and friends the AGM of the Westport Bowling Club will be held on Sunday 28th June at 10am at clubrooms.
Will be great to see as many of you as possible make it there are some important issues to be discussed as well as the usual election of officers so mark the date folks and we will see you there.

Wow what an amazing Presentation of Trophies /Closing Day we held on Sunday, celebrating everything good about our Club and there has certainly been a lot of good over the season to celebrate . We had a wonderful turnout with everyone attending relishing the chance to get together and enjoy each others company and to carry on the camaraderie that they had built up with each other over the season. There was definitely a lot of fun and laughter echoing throughout the Clubrooms. We had a special tribute to honour and farewell our dear friend and bowling mate Dennis Rodger at the beginning of the afternoon, followed by Presentations of Trophies then a delicious meal kindly donated by our wonderful member Ronny Sparks. Thank you so much Ron, the Club certainly appreciates your generous support . Many thanks also to all the other wonderful people that contributed to make our day extra special. Hi All, a reminder that our closing day is on this Sunday 19th April. Get together at 1:30 which includes a farewell to our friend and bowling mate Dennis Rodger. Presentations at approximately 3pm and BBQ dinner kindly supplied by Ron Sparks at about 5pm. $10.00 per head for the meal which is a donation for our Club. Names onto the blackboard at the clubrooms or message Dave 0210524792 by Thursday evening for the meal please for catering purposes. Hope to see you and yours there :)

Our green was grooved yesterday under the supervision of Ron and assisted by a fantastic turnout of 15 Club volunteers. The green looks improved already and according to Ron will be in tip top shape next season. Also thanks to Colleen and Tina for the yummy scones for afternoon tea. Great job everyone

Hi all Sunday the 19th April will be closing day get together presentation of trophies, and meal also Dennis Rodger daughter Sheryl will have Denny there so we can remember Denny. Be nice to see a good attendance to remember Denny. He will be there from 1.30 until approximately 3pm. The program will look like this get together from 1.30pm presentations around 3pm meal around 5.30pm. The meal is being kindly prepared by Ronnie Sparks the cost is $10 per head if you would like a meal please put your name on men's black board so we know how many to cater for.
Of course you can still come if don't want a meal bring a friend family member see you all there. Will advise of any changes to the above program.
