Another Excellence Award 😍 🥳

And then came a real headline act for Wembleybrook Sport Horses
🔥 Carnyx Air WSH - 82.25% in the showjumping section.

This powerful c**t is absolutely right near the top of the showjumping leaderboard with a massive 82.25%.

Carnyx Air WSH is by Cornet's Air and out of the New Zealand Warmblood stud book mare Roma, who is by Royal Diamond out of Emiral (by Flyinge Amiral)

Roma is also the full sister to the four-star eventer Rubinstar HH, so the depth of performance blood in this pedigree is seriously exciting.

And he looked every bit as good as the paper suggests. A modern, athletic c**t with presence and scope, he impressed with his type and movement and clearly stamped himself as one of the stronger jumping-bred foals on tour.

The stud had quietly hoped this cross might produce a filly — to retain as an outside pure-blood addition to their own breeding program — but this one arrived with a w***y!

So, while not the filly they were dreaming of, he is a super high-scoring c**t and will now be offered for purcahse. And someone is going to get a seriously exciting young prospect.

Another outstanding result for the Mullen family - thoughtful breeding, strong maternal lines, and yet again, a foal right up near the top of the board.

Excellence Award 😍

Karolina didn’t stop at one - she also presented a second foal, KAD Cornet's Heros, and made it two from two on the day.

Also by Cornet's Air this time out of De Juno, a mare who has competed successfully in dressage and is a lovely, solid sport type herself. De Juno is by Dorringcourt out of a Balcam Atlantis mare, bringing a strong depth of pedigree and performance to the dam line.

Where the first filly was lighter and very elegant, KAD Cotnet's Heros s a more substantial, powerful c**t - a different type, but equally impressive in his own way. He showed good conformation, strength through the frame, and quality movement.
He finished on 81.75% for an Excellence Award, giving Karolina and Cornet's Air an outstanding result:

A fantastic debut on tour and exciting to see Cornet's Air stamping his progeny with both quality and presence.

Excellence Award

It was the first time joining the New Zealand Warmblood Classification Tour for Karolina Dyszy of Eyrewell and what a strong start it was.

Carolina stands the stallion Cornet's Air on behalf of Gerd Küst - a familiar name to many on tour, as Gerd himself has served as an assessor on several previous New Zealand Warmblood tours.

Cornet's Air is an Oldenburg stallion by Cornet Obolensky out of Gerd's own mare Dark Air (by Diarado), bringing serious international jumping blood to New Zealand breeders.

The first foal Karolina presented was KAD Cornet's Casallor , by Cornet's Air out of the New Zealand Warmblood Studbook mare Southcote Sweet As (Candyman GNZ / Thewayyouare xx)

This was a super expressive filly — light on her feet, athletic, and very much a modern sport type with a lighter, elegant build. She impressed with her quality of shoulder, balance, and three ground-covering gaits.

She finished on 80.25% for an Excellence Award, with the assessor commenting on her type and overall sport horse presence.
A fantastic debut on tour for Karolina - and exciting to see Cornet's Air continuing to produce award-winning progeny in New Zealand.

Something what makes me ultra happy is great success rate in achieving pregnancies we currently have. Here is the message from the client who we sent CA’s semen too yesterday. It slept in a fridge overnight I can imagine and was tested in the morning! 80% progressive motility after the flight and next day is just fantastic achievement 🥰 no wander so many mares gets pregnant so easily 🚀

Welcome to the next Cornet’s Air son! 🥳🤩
This one is a first of his kind and here is what his owner said to us:

Mum is an Andalusian x Tb (her sire is Jaledor). Shes been a career broody for me really this is her 3rd foal.

Plan for him is to be decided. Originally I bred him to sell as a dual purpose sport horse with the natural collection ability coming from mum and her Spanish sire, and the looseness and elasticity from your boy to bring the jump and all the other goodies. Spanish x WB are growing in popularity for that reason as well as the fab temperaments who this boy will surely have with those parents.

I may keep him, but if the right home came up.....

I see him being able to do anything to a very good level but being sane, and smart in one package.
