Pinching myself at how lucky I am to be able to take my babes with me on wave missions…and they actually get excited and encourage me to go!
Mum guilt is the worst, I feel like I’m being selfish or a bad parent when they play on the beach while I surf… but it’s also soooo cool to show my babies that I have hobbies too, and it makes me blush when they draw pics of ‘Mummy surfing or mtb-ing’ while at school.
Hopefully they are inspired and don’t grow up hating me, dragging them around to different places…but for now they tell me they love it and we always seem to make an adventure out of the day 🩵
