🏸 ENTERING OUR ABCD MIXED DOUBLES OR ABCD DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIPS?
PLEASE CHECK YOUR GRADE BEFORE ENTERING! 🏸
To help ensure everyone has a competitive and enjoyable tournament, we've put together a guide to assist with grading.
🟨 A GRADE
✅ Senior Division 1-4 representative players
✅ Junior U19 representative players
✅ Masters Division 1-2 players - North Island
✅ Any player wishing to compete in the open grade
🟨 B GRADE
✅ Central Regions representative players
✅ Advanced Club Players
✅ Junior U15 and U17 representative players
✅ Masters Representative players (Divisions 3 and 4)
✅ Vets Division 1-4 and Super Vets Division 1-2 players
🟨 C GRADE
✅ U13 rep players
✅ Intermediate Club players
✅ Socially competitive players looking for a higher level of competition
🟨 D GRADE
✅ Beginner Club players with limited tournament experience
✅ Shuttle Time players
⚠️ Please note: Finalists of a grade in previous years may be required to move up a grade.
• The Tournament Director reserves the right to regrade players where appropriate.
• Any player who has represented an association in the last two years should enter according to the representative grading criteria.

🏸 Expressions of Interest Now Open | 2027 WNBA Representative Season 🏸

Wellington North Badminton Association is now calling for Expressions of Interest from players interested in representing WNBA during the 2027 representative season.

We are seeking interest across all representative grades:

🏸 Juniors
🏸 Seniors
🏸 Masters
🏸 Veterans
🏸 Super Veterans

Representing WNBA is a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself, compete against players from around New Zealand, build lasting friendships, and proudly wear the Wellington North Navy and Gold!

EOIs will close 15 November 2026.

By submitting an Expression of Interest now, you'll be among the first to receive updates regarding representative opportunities, tournaments, team requirements, and selection processes as information becomes available.

The early EOI process also helps us plan for the 2027 season by determining:

✅ How many teams we can enter
✅ Which grades and age groups we can support
✅ Team management and coaching requirements

Submitting an EOI does not commit you to participating. It simply allows us to gauge interest and keep you informed as planning progresses.

If you're considering representing Wellington North in 2027, we'd encourage you to put your name forward.
