We apologize for the late notice.

This Saturday sees another contact training session this time in Newlands with an earlier start time. The training session will cover all the basic skills and drills.

10am Saturday the 9th of December at Newlands Intermediate on the the turf.
This is an open season combining all 3 clubs Hutt Valley Spartans Wellington Wolves and Porirua Warriors

All you need to bring is a mouthgaurd, large shirt to fit over the pads, Boots and a water bottle. All other gear will be supplied for you on the day.

At this stage it is only open to 17 years and above.

Contact football is making its long awaited return to the capital this Saturday with a regional training session. The training session will cover all the basic skills and drills.

1pm Saturday the 25th at McEwan Park in Petone.
This is an open season combining all 3 clubs Hutt Valley Spartans Wellington Wolves Porirua Warriors .

All you need to bring is a mouthgaurd, Boots and a water bottle. All other gear will be supplied for you on the day.

At this stage it is only open to 17 years and above.

Flag football is a fast-paced, all-action, non-contact version of American Football and we're keen to get our rangatahi (youth) into the sport, especially as it trends ever closer to becoming an Olympic sport 🥇

We're running coaching camps over July, led by Wellington's very own national representatives, Jackson Te Huki - a veteran of football in all forms for almost 20 years 🏈 and Isaiah Laulu, Wellington's resident One Piece hunter and Mako athlete 🦈

We're fundraising to get our bros to Malaysia to rep for the NZ Mako, so bring $5 and yourselves along to Newlands Intermediate this Sunday to get the basics of the game under your belt, as well as have a blast overall 🚀

📣 Listen up, and listen good..!! 📣 Jackson Te Huki has been officially named as the 2022 New Zealand American Football Federation - NZAFF MVP for the 2022 Flag Nationals. This states that on the biggest stage, and when it counted the most, he stood up and led his team like no one else. From his first day as a junior QB through all the years, Jackson has led the Wolves with pride and passion, but always humble. It is on his shoulders our club has climbed so high, and now the Wolves are national champions. Jackson has always been our MVP and NZ QB1 - and this just declares for one and all that he is the best in the country at what he does. Forever you will stand with this honour, with the entire wolfpack behind you. Congratulations Jackson. Well earned, and well deserved.

There were plenty of outstanding performances at the 2022 Flag Nationals but these three were the best of the best.

Congratulations to the lads who made the New Zealand American Football Federation - NZAFF 2022 National Championship All-Tournament team. Five players mentioned, and many more deserving! Congrats to Jackson, T**e, Declan, Conrad, and Ariel. You played your way to the top of the top.
A shout out also to Eddie Seeti, and to Tom Nairn and Paul Lawrence who have run with the Wolves on their way to flag football glory - greatness comes through the capital, in 2022 at least!
