We’re looking for an ACC Physiotherapist / Rehabilitation Practitioner 🩺

Thrive Pilates Wellington is looking to connect with an ACC-registered physiotherapist or rehabilitation practitioner who may be interested in taking on a small existing caseload of clients requiring ongoing rehabilitation support.

We’d particularly love to hear from someone who has an interest in movement-based rehabilitation. A Pilates certification and experience in teaching Pilates is desirable, although not essential.

The opportunity would suit someone looking for a flexible arrangement within a Pilates studio environment, whether that’s alongside an existing practice or as an opportunity to build a small rehabilitation caseload.

If you’re a physio or rehabilitation practitioner who might be interested, we’d love to hear from you. Or if you know someone who could be a great fit, we’d really appreciate you sharing this post. 🙏

This woman of grit set herself a powerful goal: 21 Pilates classes in 21 days. Read her testimonial below:

"I came back to Thrive after cancer, major surgery, and 12 weeks without real exercise. Surgical menopause accelerated the loss of muscle tone, and while I was proud of my recovery, I felt like I’d lost part of myself — my strength, fitness, and ease in my body. We’re Moving to Momence ✨

From Monday 9th March, we’ll no longer be using MindBody as our booking software. We’re so excited to be transitioning to a new system, designed to create a smoother, more streamlined booking experience for you all!

What do you need to do right now?
Absolutely nothing yet! We’ll handle the tech side. All current memberships, class packs, and future bookings will be seamlessly migrated across to Momence.
Once we're live on Monday, all current members will receive an email with simple, easy-to-follow steps to create their new Momence login. From there you'll manage your class bookings as per usual.

We know that change can take a little adjusting. Please know that during this process, the Thrive team will be available to assist. Just reach out if you need a hand 🤍

Please note there may be a few hours on Monday 9th where classes are temporarily unavailable to book while we complete the migration. We’ll keep disruption to a minimum and keep you updated.

Teachers teaching teachers. 🤍

One of my favourite things.

There’s a lot of noise in the Pilates world right now. Trends. Elaborate repertoire. Fancy transitions.
In an industry that can feel loud and constantly evolving, Laura and I spent this session revisiting the foundations.
Even as instructors, we’re constantly refining how we move (even at a basic level).
Laura moves so beautifully, and boy, is she strong!

As well as being such a loved teacher at Thrive, Laura brings years of experience from the performance and circus world (which explains why she makes everything look effortless 🙃).

Laura coaches me too! More specifically she's been helping me work on my handstands…
I'm not brave enough to share my progress yet, but maybe one day 😉

We’ve got some exciting things lined up for next year, and I’ve been spending A LOT of time behind the laptop (taking on the shape of a human question mark) to get everything ready.

One of the latest additions to the studio is this marvellous piece of hardware - The Cadillac!

After days upon days glued to my laptop screen like a gremlin, the Cadillac supported everything that my body needed so beautifully. Love love love!!
