Airship Quiz Night ✨️

After a fantastic turnout and plenty of fun at the first Airship Quiz Night, we’re doing it all again!

- Friday 25 September 2026
- The Wardroom, RPNYC
- Arrive and register from 6 pm

Bring along a team or come on your own and we’ll help match you with some fellow quizzers 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Teams can have a maximum of six people, and registration will take place on the night ✨️

We’re also excited to welcome back Dave’s Diner, with Dave serving food throughout the quiz to keep everyone fuelled.

There will be prizes up for grabs, plenty of friendly competition and another great evening at the club.

Save the date, round up your cleverest crew and join us in the Wardroom!

⛵️ Learn Race Management with Thijs ⛵️

Join us on the 18th Sep & 2nd Oct at 6.30pm in the Wardroom for a free Race Management Course with Thijs!

The goal of this course is for skippers, crew and volunteers to be comfortable running a race. Last season many people had a great first experience and we would love to help you build on your knowledge 😀

With the new season approaching fast, this course will cover how to run a race from the RPNYC start box. This is a great opportunity to refresh your knowledge or gain new skills.

The course will step through the race preparation, the start procedure and recording/processing of finishing times.

Musical Bingo is back! Let's spend the night listening to our favourite hits and quizing our memories.

AN EVENING INSPIRED BY SEAWEED 🌿🐙

Join us for a special fundraiser evening supporting Explore Your Coast and our work connecting people with Wellington’s marine environment.

🎬 Enjoy the short documentary 'Seaweed, A Love Story', a Q&A with film lead and Explore Your Coast founder Nicole Miller, fully immersive 360° VR dives into Taputeranga Marine Reserve and Wellington Harbour, and an evening of seaweed art and conversation.

🎤 Bring your seaweed questions, explore ocean-inspired art, and take home a piece of the ocean. All proceeds from ticket and art sales support Explore Your Coast. Proudly supported and hosted by the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club.
