We were fortunate to enjoy a beautiful autumn day for the Cedric Wright Open Pairs/Triples on Sunday 24 May ☀️

Whether playing or spectating, everyone seemed to have a great time. The wood-fired pizzas and chips were a popular way to round off the day 🍕

Congratulations to all recipients at the prizegiving held afterwards 🏆 and all bowlers for a fantastic season of bowls! 🙌🏽

Clash of the Codes was a huge success on Sunday ☀️
The weather played its part and allowed Teams Rugby 🏉, Tennis 🎾, Cricket 🏏 and Football ⚽ to battle it out over a fun-filled afternoon of lawn bowls!

There was dancing on and off the rink 💃 (best moves go to Serena McFarlane), thirsts were quenched thanks to the amazing crew on the bar, food was flowing thanks to Willie on the BBQ 🍔 and the local banter lasted all-day-long 😂

The Team Captains played a game of Corner to Corner where the winning Captain won a free round of drinks for his team 🍻… Nice work Gatts!! 👏

Then it was time for everyone on the green for a Spider 🕷️ where all bowlers stood around the perimeter and whoever got their bowl closest to the $50 note 💵 pinned in the middle took it out – well done Brooke Forrester!! 👏

The final was played with last year’s Champions, Team Tennis led by Gordy, vs Team Cricket led by Steve Gellatly. It was neck and neck 😮‍💨 and it all came down to a super over where Team CRICKET took the win! 🏆 Congratulations Team Cricket!! 👏
