Creating memories 🥰 Trying to start a tradition, when each of girls is about 7yo we take a daddy daughter trip into the mountains for a stay at a hut. This girl crushed it! She had her doubts but we talked through them and pushed on. So proud of her. 2 down, 2 to go.

Tauranga at night from the top of Mount Maunganui.
Puts the girls to bed and when for an evening run/ hike up, in the rain lol luckily it’s super warm and it felt great.

Lake Marian, South Island NZ
One of my absolute favourite hikes.
Along a rushing river, through mossy forest and into the mountain base.
Ending at this lake tucked into the mountains.
Doesn’t get much better.

It so frustrating how fast your cardio strength and endurance fades.
Had to take a couple weeks off for health and family but it’s not like I stopping working out, just couldn’t run.
Two weeks! And my cardio is shot, easy runs are now hard.
Ugh, back to the grind.
