As we prepare to welcome you to NZTF 2026, we’re looking forward to a fantastic weekend of workshops, performances and social dancing.

The countdown is officially on and Wellington is getting ready to embrace tango once again.

From 24–30 June 2026, dancers from across New Zealand, Australia and beyond will come together for a week of connection, music, movement and unforgettable nights on the dance floor.

Sunday 28 June: La Ultima Milonga

Music by DJ Sebastian from Wellington

Kiss new and old friends goodbye, exchange numbers and email addresses, and send the festival off with a bang. Dance with everyone you had been meaning to dance with all weekend.

A la carte menu available in the restaurant. Bar snacks available in the Cable Room.

DJ Sebastian, the maestro of tango rhythms. This well-known Wellington-based Argentinian creates an atmosphere that draws dancers into the heart of the music.
