We are: 2 bachata dancers-become-instructors, based in Wellington, New Zealand, and a wide range of locals who love love love to dance bachata! Together we form a lovely musical community based in Wellington, New Zealand. We pour energy into developing the bachata field of the wider Latin Dance in New Zealand.
We are always amazed at the range of people who love to dance... Without knowing it, you may have danced with doctors, academics, shift-workers, athletes, or people dance-travelling their way through the cities of the world, all in an evening... and dance connects us all.
Dario and I (Luisa) moved to Wellington a few years ago, and since then have set up the framework for weekly socials, classes, events and workshops. These fill up with the good vibes of locals, visiting teachers, travelling-dancers, and many beginners who are just discovering the world of bachata, as well as regulars. Find us, and come share the music!
We are supportive of the dance community Wellington-wide - so though impart knowledge about both Dominican and European styles of Bachata, we can let you know about other things going on too! - from tango to swing!
