We would love donations of any of the following for our team bags and individual players(all sizes to suit 9-13 year olds):

Cricket bats
Helmets

Tom & Lex (former Onslow Juniors) have been selected for the NZ U18 Indoor Cricket Team travelling to South Africa in September and are fundraising to help cover the costs of this.

Introduction to hardball

We will be holding two sessions later in term 3 for players to learn about hardball cricket.

These sessions are designed for players currently in year 5 who will be playing in a hardball grade for the first time this summer, and for any older players who are new to cricket.

Protective gear and professional coaching are provided. A small charge of $25 for two sessions is a contribution towards venue hire and coaching.

Sessions are 3-4:30pm on Sunday 13 and 20 September at HNRY stadium.

It’s term 3! Which means the countdown to cricket season is on!

Put these dates in your diaries now

17 August: registrations for all grades open

Sunday 13 and Sunday 20 September (time and location tbc, likely afternoon): intro to hardball sessions for year 5 players, and any new players who will be in hardball grades this season.

21 September: registrations close

11, 18 and 25 October (Sunday afternoons): pre season training sessions for girls hardball and year 6-8 mixed teams.

Saturday 7 November: likely date for first games of the season!
