On Mountain is home to a variety of items, suitable for a range of environments from mountains, to the beach to the city streets. We also carry a range of Treble Cone clothing and merchandise to help solidify on mountain memories. 's District 2001 is one of our best selling frames at the moment- the crystal colour way is our favourite.⁠

We just got a call from someone who purchased Vuarnet's in Europe back in 1986. He only wanted a new temple since the lenses are still perfect - unfortunately they don't make the frame anymore so he had to get a new pair!⁠

We think that 35 years of wear is an acceptable amount of time for sunnies to last 😆⁠

Nothing quite compares to the Vuarnet Skilynx lens - specifically designed for alpine environments with its contrast enhancing yellow based lens. ⁠

Cat 3 around the outer edges - Cat 4 in the centre of the lens this blunts the extreme brightness when you are up high 🤪 ⁠

They use in binoculars and telescopes for a reason. This provides a far superior Optical clarity when compared with cheap polycarbonate. Its more durable - we get people ringing us looking for temples for their frames that they bought 30 years ago! 🤯 the lenses are still going strong!⁠

Lastly blocks out a much larger proportion of Infrared light (heat 💥) - as your eyes absorb less heat, it is more relaxing for your eyes 👁️.⁠
