While walking the beach on a beautiful Mt Maunganui day a lovely lady paused my momentum, very complementary asked me how long have I been an amputee ( I could tell she had a genuine interest later disclosing she was a nurse) an engaging conversation and then we parted with a statement “use it or lose it” very appropriate.
My reflection on this positive encounter led me to this quote;
