Calling all NZ Underwater Rugby players!

We are pleased to invite you to register an expression of interest for the Aotearoa Open underwater rugby competition.
To be held on the 19-20th of September at Waterworld in Hamilton, New Zealand.

Format:
- Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm
- Mixed teams.
- All levels of players. Beginners will be given a pink cap and may play as a 7th.
- Clubs are welcome to enter multiple teams, partial teams, and individuals.
- Tournament limited to 8 teams, so get in quick!

Cost is estimated at $600-$750 NZD per team.
This may be adjusted depending on the number of teams and players attending.

We are looking for full teams, partial teams, or individuals that are keen to join to respond via the form.
To help with planning please respond before the 30th of April.

No more UWR in Wellington!
Sadly we can't get enough players to make our training worth while.
If anyone can create enough interest in the future and wants to start this sport in Wellington again, please get in touch.

Our regular training on Monday nights is on again, 21:00 - 22:00 in Kilbirnie Pool (WRAC). From next week 22nd March. Old members and anyone interested to check it out is welcome to join us. See you next week!

Last week we had our first training again. We are not allowed to play games yet, but we do have 2 lanes in the deep pool between 7 - 8pm. We're able to do some fin swimming, drills or pass the ball around. Not the real thing yet, but a step closer. Come along to training tonight, Monday 7-8pm
