Adrian Gounder (known as Eddy) becomes the first coach of a Indo-Fijian decent to guide the Wellington Marist Afc team to the top spot and secure the promotion during his time with the club in capital football (cap2).

Adrian (Eddy) has secured the promotion for the club when they won their game in 12th round with 10 wins and 2 draws. The league is still currently under way with 5 games remaining but due to unforeseen reasons Adrian Gounder has had his journey with the club cut short.

Adrian (Eddy) has achieved this milestone in his 2nd year of coaching. Last season(2022) his finished the season with Seatoun AFC on joint 3rd place but goals difference pushed his team to 4th place.
Adrian also owns a team Wellington Rewa Fc (Fiji ethnic) and is also The Secretary of NZ Fiji Football Association Wellington.

Adrian is now moved forward from the club and available to find more success in his future career.
