What do you need this week to make it a success? πŸ’ͺ🏼

It's not too late to head in a different direction if this week hasn't started off how you wanted it to 😎

And it's amazing if you've already started your week off well.. what do you need to continue the momentum?

Self awareness and intention setting is a big theme at Fitlife Training. It's about understanding how we get to our goals and live a life we feel good about.

How often do you set yourself an intention? Daily or weekly?

Do you plan your day or let it happen to you? 🫣

I find that when I start my day by setting an intention, regardless of whether the day turns to sh*t or not, I've made myself a priority. I've started the day by choosing my energy or setting a focus. When the plan derails, I know what I need to come back to. Rather than let things spiral more out of control.

You'll be surprised at how much this helps dictate how you feel and what you get out of your day 😌

Over the weekend, Fitlife Training bought you the second ever 🀩

We had the most amazing time with all our fit friends getting sweaty and doing what we do best πŸ’ͺ🏼 It was an amazing sunny day in the mighty hutt and we loved every minute of it.

Congrats to all the athletes that got involved and gave it their all over the day. From those who compete in all the local comps to those who have never done anything like this before.. It's not an easy thing to challenge yourself and push the limits of what you are capable of but we are so inspired by all of you who showed up πŸ”₯

Mase reached out to me a couple of months ago to make his health and fitness goals a priority. Not only has he been super consistent each week but he's getting stronger and fitter as a result.

Love your work man! 😍 Keep it up πŸ‘πŸΌ

Sure I enjoy working hard in the gym. I love the endorphins, the feeling of a good sweaty workout πŸ’¦ but what I love more, is the ability to enjoy life to the full. Knowing my body can hike, run, explore, climb and take on any adventure I throw at it β›°β˜€οΈ

THIS EXCITED 😍 about the first Fitlife Boot Camp of 2021 starting up tomorrow morning πŸ”₯

With Wellington now sitting at Level 2, we will be taking precautions during the sessions with appropriate spacing and cleaning products on hand.

Myself and the amazing Tamsyn Rutherford from TR Nutrition are starting up a boot camp in Thorndon, Wellington to kick start your 2021πŸ’₯

We will be holding these on two mornings a week at 7am (Tues/Thurs) starting on the 16th of Feb.

This will run for an 8 week period where we focus on building strength and fitness endurance all the while hanging out and making friends within one heck of a community πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ₯°

When the summer weather calls us to get outside and explore our backyards 🌞🌴

How nice is it to adventure outside and be in the fresh air ☺️ One of the first things I do when I get on holiday is google all the walking tracks around where I'm staying and plan an adventure. Hiking up a hill or through the bush gives me a much needed perspective shift and is so good for the soul πŸ™πŸΌ

Surround yourself with people who get it πŸŒŸπŸ™ŒπŸΌ
Not everyone will understand why you get up at 5am to fit in a gym session before work, or why you don't want to have a big night this Saturday, or why you bring all your meals to work in Tupperware, or say no to the chocolate passed around at 3pm in the office.
Those ones who don't get it, will usually give you s**t for being obsessed or too strict or peer pressure you into having that slice of cake for Karen's birthday at the office.
It's not because they actually think your obsessed or strict, its because they don't want it enough themselves. By telling you you're obsessed or too strict, they get away with avoiding doing it themselves. They put it in the too hard basket. They don't actually think they can have it themselves.
The ones who get it are the ones you want in your corner. They'll support you in your decisions and have your back when you're prioritising your health.
Keep grinding away at your goals. Little by little, take the smalls steps, even when you mess up or lose your way. You've got this!
