Happy birthday to us! Lyall Bay Taekwon-Do turned 5 years old this week, and what a ride it's been! Huge thanks to all of our students and supporters for helping us get to where we are today. From our opening night with 20+ registered on the spot, coupled with months and months of learning 4 direction punch and block to now having inherited a 1st Dan (and now a possible 2nd Dan) and having 2 members still with us today that have shown they have the perseverance to go the distance and become black belts (spoiler, one of them is currently red belt, 2nd Gup) as well as having every colour of the syllabus under one roof. I want to thank you all for making our club the awesome place and amazing bunch of people that inspire me to keep turning up and trying to push to the best you can be. You're all champions in my book and all have the potential to and dedication required to call yourselves true Taekwon-Do practitioners. I can't wait to continue this ride with you and see where the next 5 years and beyond takes us. Taekwon! 🥋👊
