Well, what a regatta!

269 races later, we have our National Championship holders!

We had a fantastic finals round, with all sailors cheering on from changeover and support boats.

Thank you to Sail Northland, Whangarei Cruising Club and Parua Bay Yacht Club for an outstanding event, and to all the volunteers and support that goes into an event like this.

Day 5 briefing - a huge effort by the race committee yesterday with 98 races sailed.

Plan for today is to complete 1 round of Swiss, then move into finals round.

Forecast is looking breezy from the north, so reefs are in.

Held at Royal Akarana Yacht Club, Matariki Weekend - June 20th-22nd.

This is a great event, with an amazing calibre of sailors. We can't wait to see all the action unfold...

RAYC is proud to be hosting the Open Team Racing National Championships for the third consecutive year this winter, with a change of dates to the long weekend over the Matariki holiday it is sure to be another great edition of the regatta. Entries are OPEN and spaces are limited as usual so make sure to get in quick, grab 5 of your mates and get an entry in to have a fun weekend on the water!

The annual regatta is a great chance for ex-school team racers to jump back in the boats or for sailors from different schools to sail together in the same team to take the challenge to the adults...
