The good news keeps on coming. Following the amazing audience reaction to FIFTY when it screened at the Banff Mountain Film Festival last weekend, it has now won a place on the prestigous BMFF WORLD TOUR, meaning it is likely to be seen by tens of thousands of people in 44 countries over the next 12 months!

This is as good as it gets for adventure filmmakers. This year some 350 films were submitted to Banff, of which only 90 screen during the 9-day long festival. Of these, only 30 win a place on the World Tour. That's less than 1 in 10 of all submissions!

The version of the film that will hit the road is a new 27-minute edit that John-Jo (Flashworks Media) and Andrew (Digicake Studio) performed miracles to produce in the last few days. THANKS you guys, what you managed to do in such a short time frame has staggered seasoned professionals in Banff!

Thanks also to those who showed belief in the project from the start and helped with funding - Marmot NZ, 100% Pure New Zealand, New Zealand Film Commission and of course to Aaron Smart of Smart As Productions and Matt Jenke of Silver Eye Films for their contribution to filming the epic adventure that was the High Five-0 Challenge for Mental Health.

Sally & I leave Banff today with a warm glow in our hearts, a sense of accomplishment way beyond any expectations that we arrived with, knowing that the important messages about the role of time outdoors in managing mental wellbeing will now ripple out across the globe. We could't be happier.
