🚤 KINGS BIRTHDAY WEEKEND – WE NEED YOU (AND YOUR BOAT)

Right… before you tuck the boat away and pretend winter’s a personality… hold up a minute 😏

We’ve got two epic days of racing coming up with the Waitaki Recreational & Boating Club, and we need a few legends on the water to help make it happen.

📍 Saturday – Lake Benmore (12 safety boats needed)
📍 Sunday – Lake Aviemore (8 safety boats needed)

This is your chance to:

* Get right in amongst the action (closer than any spectator spot)
* Be part of the racing crew without needing a race boat
* Help keep the sport safe, strong, and growing

It been a journey straightening the axle reshaping the trailer, welding up the tears in alloy joins and rewiring some lights felt good getting her back on the trailer now for the repower!
Shout out to Peak Marine Wanaka for the sweet alloy welds!

Get on down and support the powerboat at lake taupo

Round 2 of the New Zealand Offshore Powerboat Championship is officially back on the calendar after a massive community effort saved the event. 💪 Thanks to local supporters and teams, Lake Taupō will roar to life on 15 November; the next stop in NZ’s offshore racing revival.

I have done some digging and have found the builder( Tony Marsh ) and here is what I have found out.

It was a copy of a bullet. Originally, it was a tunnel deck that Tony converted. Tim Spencer has the other one that was built that you all may know and is still a tunnel deck called Sweet Revenge.

Bring on next season sadly I probably won't be making it to waihola this year as the boat doesn't look this good anymore
