Don’t train out of guilt of who you are or because you ‘should do it’

Connect the reason your training to do a deeper why & you’ll get better results & will be far more likely to do it. S**t, you may even enjoy it more!

Me personally I train because I want to feel good on a daily basis both now & when I’m 80 (hopefully 😅)

I seen this thing the other day that around 50% of people give up on their New Year’s resolutions by the second week of January.

Now resolutions aren’t all that, you can make a change at any time of the year that you want to. But if you set out to do something & you have tried it yet, here’s your sign that you should just get out there & give it a go, don’t let it build up into a what could’ve been for another year.

Whether it’s going to the gym, improving your mobility, or making changes to your nutrition if the urge was there to want to make a change & you haven’t followed through it’s ok, just start now, you can do it 👍

Putting pressure on yourself to be successful & get on top of your life feels like a pretty standard part of human life right now, especially at this time of year.

If you’ve been comparing yourself to others on social media & feel like you’re behind, just remember there’s no point blowing out of steam this early in the year, the smarter approach is starting smaller then you think, building up wins & confidence early in the year.

And the cool thing is this will lead to better consistency & just overall enjoying the process.
