We have had to wait a while for it but we assure you it'll be worth it!
The Stevenson and Taylor T20 GRAND FINAL we be held this FRIDAY (easter weekend) at the iconic S.C.G at 2pm.
Come along and watch the top two contenders from the competition battle for the title of the greatest in CHB as both have won the cup 2 times each.
Everyone welcome so bring the family and the drinks to watch some great country cricket!

After getting washed out last time, we are hoping for better weather this time.

The Wallingford Cricket Club is back at home this Thursday to take on Kereru. We’ve got the covers off, the pitch rolled, and fingers crossed the weather gods are on our side this week!

Not the result we were after in our first home game on the new pitch, but it was a great day of cricket nonetheless. We’ll regroup and go again this Friday against Kereru. Team naming and match details coming soon.

Waipawa came and spoilt the party at the new and improved Wallingford Sports Ground cricket wicket. A stunningly beautiful ground had equally beautiful weather for a tense game on Thursday night with the game going right down to the last over.

A Day to Remember at Our New Home! 🏏

What a perfect Sunday to officially open our new ground! The sun was shining, the wickets were pitched, and our wonderful Wallingford Cricket Club family came together for a day full of smiles, laughter, and sport.

The day started with the kids having a fun game followed by the adults having a hit which included some of the locals, followed by the delicious barbecue and the constant sound of laughter around the boundary… it was everything we dreamed of for our grand opening. A huge thank you to everyone who came down, rolled an arm over, cheered from the sidelines, or helped behind the scenes.

Seeing multiple generations of our club, from our youngest future stars to our most seasoned members, enjoying our fantastic new facilities together was truly special. This is what community cricket is all about.

Here’s to the first of many great memories on our new hallowed turf! The future is bright for WCC.
