Now that's the way to do a long weekend...Redstone, 3 rounds of golf, Lydia's Lodge Tiny Home for mum and dad, self contained caravans for the kids and even a place to watch the rugby from! Happy Matariki!

Something for the juniors who play at Redstone. Roger from Totaradale is getting a junior's tournament off the ground in the area. (Playing at the different courses). You don't have to be a member of any club to play and the format is an ambrose tournament - ideal for those getting into competitive playing. Who says clean-ups can't be fun?
We've had 180mm or rain this week, which has largely drained away but there are still some soggy patches out there.
The course is open if you're happy to get wet feet! No carts though.

I think everyone who follows us on FB knows of our 3 floods in 4 years saga!
Residents of Wai Iti Valley, Wakefield and Spring Grove are looking for support for this petition to try and get TDC to remove the cause - gravel build up in our rivers. We'd appreciate your signature too!

Thanks to all who've checked in - Redstone is relatively unscathed this time for which we are truly grateful. Enormous thanks to our farmer next door who accomplished a considerable amount of river work after July's event.
For those who are accustomed to using the Temporary bridge on # 7 - well...it was Temporary!
