📣Your Steering Committee needs a steer 📢💡
Recently, the Wakefield Community Hub Project Advisory Group (PAG) has been considering several options for our future community hub.

The previously preferred option of a single entity hub on the Wakefield Reserve near the existing football grounds, is now just one of a few ideas.

The steering committee urgently needs your feedback on the proposed future hub options so we can accurately represent the community’s wishes in the planning process before the end of August.

✨️ Wakefield youth deserve a space to connect, hang out, and feel part of their community. 🤙

The Wakefield Youth Hangout was about giving our young people somewhere safe, positive, and welcoming — a place to build friendships, have fun, and create opportunities. Unfortunately, this initiative has stalled, but we believe it’s too important to give up on.

Now we’re asking our community: can you help us bring it back?

Whether it’s support, ideas, volunteering, sponsorship, or simply showing interest, every bit helps. Wakefield has always had a strong community spirit, and together we can create something meaningful for our youth again.

Our young people are the future of this community. Let’s show them they matter.

Would any youth be interested in helping direct cars this evening for the trick or treat slot of the Halloween at Willow Bank event? 1.5hrs

I need 4 if possible to help me.
If you help, I will give you a free entry in the haunted village and a free ice cream from Mr Whippy.
