Isola Racing Stables Moira has trained gallopers on Karioitahi Beach since 1988, her home based stables offer a lovely lifestyle for the horses.

All raceday fitness preparation is done at the beach with the benefit of work on a perfect surface in straight line & water walking

Wiremu gave Charlie every opportunity with a stella front running ride and rated him to perfection off the front🤌

We are so excited for owner/ breeder Joan Egan who deserves every success in racing and we love training for her

Well you don't work with horses without having a sense of humor, that we all know 😆

The team sent me this video of a few short vids they've taken and I think we need to make a point of collecting more🤣👌

So enjoy a few spooks, Chennes broken stirrup! 😳 A few wet bodies🙈 that tempermental baleage trolley, the lesser glamorous jobs... the joys a slipping over in winter mud, Logans superior cartwheels, riding in torrential rain, excellent singing ( could be a video of just singing if your LUCKY) and of course EDI!!!

The group trots together in perfect formation between the reflections (or the waves) and were followed by a cloud with its very own rainbow in an otherwise the most blue of blue skys

Then Eion sends you a few of his photos and we see the beach at all angles and emphasizes what an amazing place it is, and in my most bias opinion, is even better with a horse featured
