𝑾𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒐𝒂 𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝑨𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕

Due to the grounds still being cyclone affected, Wairoa will host a one day sports day on Saturday 17th January 2026, instead of the two day show originally advertised.

This is a combined effort between, Wairoa A & P Society, Wairoa Pony Club Inc and Wairoa Branch of NHB Area of ESNZ, and there will NOT be any Show Hunter National Series or Jumping Series classes, apart from the Main Events 1.10m competition.

A perfect way to begin competing at the Hawke's Bay A&P Show.

Please share this far and wide with the Pony Club community!
Our Pony Club Section is a special part of the Hawke’s Bay A&P Show – a chance for grassroots riders to compete, have fun, and enjoy the atmosphere of their local show.

✅ Who can enter?
Any rider not competing in any other section at the show, or
Riders competing in Breed Sections, plus Show Hunter and/or Showjumping up to 1.05m.
Riders competing in RAS Showing Classes are not eligible.

🐴 Turnout?
Wear your Pony Club uniform, or if not a member, a long-sleeve shirt & tie.
Riders can be led or unled. Ponies are to be plaited.

💬 We have a lovely, supportive judge and two amazing stewards, it’s a fantastic day out for riders, families, and friends. We had huge entries last year and let’s make it even bigger in 2025! There’ll be prizes and praise for those attending their first-ever A&P Show.

Lily, Lexi & Sophie competed at the McMillans Teams jumping event in Takapau during the weekend.
They all came away with individual placings in their various classes & a well earned 5th place overall in the Team Challenge.
Well done girls 👏🏼 The rain didn't stop everyone having a great time. Roll on 2026!
