What. A. Weekend. 🔥

From the second you all arrived, the energy in the gym was unreal! Competitors digging deep, people cheering until they lost their voices, volunteers everywhere, friends backing friends, families supporting families - it was the best feeling wandering around watching our local and extended gym community show up the way they did 👊🏼

Weekends like this are about so much more than fitness. They’re about connection, support, challenge and doing hard things together!

To every single person who competed, donated, spectated, volunteered, judged, organised or simply came along to support - thank you. You made this weekend what it was 💥

And now… we cannot WAIT to watch Mick the Moose 🫎 and Gilly Goat 🐐 represent Waipū at the HYROX World Champs 🌎💪🏼

Gilly & Mick took on both singles and doubles—smashing singles on Saturday and backing it up with doubles Sunday morning 💪

Let’s just say… those push-ups will have your arms feeling it early, the lunges will set your legs on fire, and the rest… you’ll just have to push through 😉

After HYROX Auckland we got to add TWO more flags to the collection!!

The biggest congrats to our Pro Doubles pair Gilly & Mick for taking out 🥈 2nd Place and qualifying for HYROX Worlds! And as if that wasn’t enough… Mick added another 🥇 taking out his Solo division too!

We are rallying behind them as a community to help get them to Stockholm for this incredible international opportunity. We would absolutely love your support — every little bit helps.
