Looking for a fun family outing this Sunday? Cast a line and make some memories at Take a Kid Fishing, one of the exciting Have a Go events featured in the Bream Bay Festival of Sport.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for tamariki in our community to give fishing a go. Every registered child (12 years and under) receives a free sausage sizzle, drink and ice block, plus the chance to win prizes for the Longest Sprat (Boys), Longest Sprat (Girls) and Longest Other Species. Registrations on the day, bring the whānau along and join in the fun!

🎣 Final few days of the mini-comp — and the fishing gods are cooperating.
Bream Bay's Fisho Factor is sitting at 100 (Excellent) right through to Saturday, easing only slightly to 82 on Sunday. Light winds, small swell, clear skies — ideal snapper and kahawai conditions all the way to the wire.
Fishing closes 1:00 PM Sunday 19 July. Get your measure photos to Geoff (021-0287-5733) or bring them to the clubhouse 3-4pm. Mini-comp winners + Annual Awards announced at 4pm — bar and free sausage sizzle from 3pm. Everyone welcome.
