Compak Sporting Club Champs this Sunday the 8th March from 9am. 100 targets of pure Compak bliss for $70 together with a optional $10 graded winners sweep. Trophies have been kindly sponsored thanks to TubeWorx and a huge thankyou needs to go out to Lucas and Sons for their continued support. We look forward to everyones company no matter your skill set there will be something for every one.

We have made the decision to cancel the ATA shoot scheduled for 28th February on our 2026 Shoot Programme and hold a working bee at the clubroom and grounds this Saturday afternoon from 1 p.m. (28th February).

This is to help with the rebuilding of a wind damaged fence, dismantling the old sporting trap sheds down the gully as well as a good tidy up of the grounds.

If you could offer some manpower and bring along tools to help, it would be very much appreciated by letting Roscoe 027-667-1100 or Richard 0274-890-483 know your availability please.

This Saturday the 14th we have our DTL club champs with Hawkes bay hosting their champs on Sunday. Thats a whole 6 Championships held over the one day or do the double header and shoot for all 9 championships in total. Pies will be in the warmer to keep bellys full.
For those who are thinking typo, yes it is Saturday event not our usual Sunday.👌

Well done to our Club Captain Richard Jacobs on winning the North Island South Zone Compak Sporting Championships yesterday with a 96/100. It sounds like the guys had a good time and Rata Sporting Clays ran a great event.👍🤸‍♂️

Hawkes Bay Clay Target Club is teaming up with Patangata Clay Target Club for a full weekend of shooting in the Bay.

Two Clubs. One Big Weekend. In the Bay.

We’ll be hosting Sunday’s shoot at Hawkes Bay Clay Target Club, following Saturday’s event at Patangata.

Across the weekend there will be 305 targets over two days, making it well worth the trip.

Bring the camper and settle in — on-site camping is available Friday and Saturday night, and shooters are welcome to stay at either club.

If you’re wanting to jump on the camping bandwagon, please reach out via Facebook to the club you wish to stay at.
