Humphries Cup Auction Day — Today at Napier Golf Club

Just two more matches to be played this morning — and then our Top 16 pairs for 2026 will be confirmed. The full draw, including pair handicaps and shots as of 1 August, will be printed and ready for pickup from 3pm in the Burns Buchanan Lounge.

Humphries Cup Qualifying — Weekend Wrap

Despite a forecast of horrible weather, our 39 pairs headed out for Humphries Cup qualifying — and were rewarded with mostly settled conditions and very little wind. The greens were tricky after the rain, especially with the speed we’ve had them running lately, and the course proved challenging for many.

A massive field of 39 pairs — one of our strongest ever — battled it out, and some big names missed the cut at 32.

The draw is now complete and first‑round matches can begin.
Format: Fourball Best Ball off the Blue Tees
Deadline: All matches must be played by 1 August

Any matches not completed will be played on 1 August in the pre‑booked field.
If a player cannot play before this date, their partner must compete alone against the opposing pair.
Please make every effort to arrange matches with all four players present — fairness first.

Players Raffle (Calcutta):
Tickets go on sale this week. A separate post will follow.
Tickets are $1 each, sold in lots of 20 ($20).
The first $260 goes toward trophies and glasses; the remainder goes into the Calcutta pot.
100% of auction money goes to the prize pool.

🏆 Club Championship Qualifying Results & Match‑Play Draws
Qualifying is complete and match play is now underway across all divisions.
Due to the high number of early‑round matches and limited tee times, Rounds 1 & 2 have extended play‑by dates to ensure everyone can get their matches played.

📅 Key Match‑Play Dates
• Round 1: play by 19 July
• Round 2: play by 2 August
• Quarter‑finals: play by 16 August
• Semi‑finals: play by 30 August
• Finals: 12 September
