We will be live streaming (video and commentary) the Wainuiomata Lions Rugby League Club vs St George Dragons Prems rugby league game tomorrow from 2.30pm.

Commentators will be Ken Laban Anaru Tunoho Ryall and Brendon Kingi

At 5.30pm tonight, the Prime Minister announced the extension of existing Covid-19 Level 2 arrangements for us, outside of Auckland.YES! Our two Premier teams are excited to play tomorrow!

However if the Wainuiomata Lions hosts this game at Wise Park, "we MUST be prepared and be able to adhere to Level 2 guidelines of no more than 100 spectators etc".

To be able to safely host, this game will be played in an 'Empty Stadium' on Wise Park Field 1. You will understand that we can not guarantee less than 100 spectators.

We expected a large crowd for this game, and this was not an easy decision.

This means there can be no spectators at Wise Park Field 1 or in the clubrooms. We will manage the entry, stay and exit of both Teams and their Management. There will be no hosting in the clubrooms. We will have to secure all entry points.

BREAKING NEWS: To ensure our Communities can still enjoy this game, it will be live streamed by the Pick up the Pace Podcast team They will be joined by New Zealand's leading sports commentator- Ken Laban We will also share this broadcast on multiple community and Rugby League pages. We encourage you to join us online please.

We love our Rugby League community- you are our backbone. This decision is to keep us all safe, and ensure we can play and watch the game we love.

Former All Black #1060 Neemia Tialata was one of the most feared props in rugby.

He was capped 43 times for the All Blacks, played 101 games for the Hurricanes and 65 games for Wellington.

He also played rugby in France for Bayonne, Toulouse, Narbonne. Neemia now runs a wine business called Deux Chevaux with his business partner Camille.

Yesterday the Centurions Rugby Football Club beat the New Zealand Parliamentary Rugby Team 19-10 at William Jones Park, Wainuiomata to celebrate the Parliamentary Team's 25th anniversary.

It was a pleasure to bring you live commentary of the match with the support of Atiawa Toa FM - thanks Cory and team!
