Progress report:
If you haven’t made the switch now is a good time to steer away from this location and keep following us on Hot Shotz Tackle and Outdoors, this page closes on May 31.
We are nearly there, all remaining stock has been packed in the order it was displayed and is in temporary storage.
The next few weeks will have our home office transformed into a stock room, when we fix a leak we just found!
By the end of this month the website www.tackleshop.co.nz should start getting fatter as we add product back into it.
First thing you will notice is our header has dropped the wooden signboard and we reinstated the HOT SHOTZ Tackle logo.
That is us, it always was since 2001.
Keep connected as we transition our operation from instore to online.
Thanks for all the notes of support as we endure the upheaval, couldn’t do it without you all behind us, Team HOT SHOTZ!

Last Day for TackleShop Leisure and Home. From here, we sort and clear out getting ready for a huge garage sale in the coming weeks where everything must go, at bargain basement prices.

In the meantime, thanks to everyone we have grown with during the tenure of our humble country store, and fishing shop!

It's been a busy month, not only have we ended our tenure in a retail store in Waimate, we have continued the transition back to where we started all those (25) years ago!
Yes, we have dropped TackleShop Leisure and Home and are again identifying as HOT SHOTZ Tackle!
Our website has been edited and is up and running and still identifies as www.tackleshop.co.nz but the full transition back to HOT SHOTZ should take effect very soon.
Stay with us as we venture forward into our grassroots and remember you are supporting a self-made NZ heartland business run by owner operators, traditional style.

It has been a hell of a ride but it is time to call time and end the journey for TackleShop Leisure and Home.
A recent turn in my health has lead us to decide to finally retire.
The wind down has started and everything must go, so all stock is priced to clear.
Jean and I thank you all for the support you have given us these past five and a half years, and we are looking forward to a less stressful time as we put the tools down.
Please do call in and find a bargain or two or just to show your smiley face again.
Most Important: If you have vouchers, redeem them asap as once we are closed they become worthless.
The closing date has not yet been set but the sooner the better so I can get this ageing body on the road to recovery and get my fishing gear ready for action, again.
