Hi everyone,

Happy New Year. I hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas and New Year break.

I’m pleased to advise that Upper Hutt Badminton Club sessions will commence next Sunday, 1 February 2026. Please see below the confirmed session dates and times for the season.

All sessions will be held unless otherwise advised.

- 1 February 2026 – 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- 8 February 2026 – 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- 14 February 2026 – 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- 1 March 2026 – 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- 7 March 2026 – 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- 15 March 2026 – 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- 22 March 2026 – 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- 27 March 2026 (Friday) – 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- 12 April 2026 – 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- 19 April 2026 – 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- 26 April 2026 – 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

We anticipate approximately 11-12 sessions for the 2026 season.

To keep costs as affordable as possible, we are offering a flat-rate subscription:

- Season subscription: $60
- (Equivalent to $5 per session for 12sessions)

Game Night Tonight at 5 PM- Join us for a game !

Hi everyone,

With several new members joining us recently, I’d like to take a moment to go over a few housekeeping notes:

We play every Sunday from 5–7 PM.
There are 5 courts available:
Courts 1–4 are for competitive play.
Court 5 is reserved for beginners, and we especially welcome kids 12 and older who are eager to learn.
A bell rings every 10–12 minutes, signaling it’s time to rotate players and courts.
Please ensure players who haven’t played yet get a chance before jumping into another game.
We play fairly casually and don’t use a board to organize matches like some clubs. However, I kindly ask everyone to rotate courts so that all players get to mix and play with different partners.
