UH Community Badminton Term 1 2026 has just concluded last Tuesday 31 March.

We will have a 2-week break and will start Term 2 on 21 April.
I’m sure all of you will find something else to do on a Tuesday evening (Netflix!) while waiting Term 2 to start.

This coming Tuesday, 16Dec, will be the last game night of 2025 UH Community Badminton 🏸💪

We’ll be having another fun night, and as we do every year before we close the yearend, will be having a bit of a raffle, oh and we encourage you to wear something Christmas-y to make the night more exciting 🧑‍🎄🌲🦌

Thank you again for all the support and making every night, full of energy and excitement 🙌🎊

We will resume games for Term1 2026 on February 03.

Term1 Upper Hutt Community Badminton is back to playing Tuesday nights at Whirinaki Whare-Taonga Recreation Hall starting Feb 04, 2025 from 7-9pm.

Cost stays at $5/player.

For those who are coming in for the first time, we have spare racquets that can be borrowed, and shuttlecocks are provided.

Hope you all had a good Christmas/New Year/School break!

We just concluded our Term4 Badminton games last Tuesday, 17 Dec, and we want to thank everyone for supporting our Upper Hutt community sports initiative.

We are going to have a break, and we start with our Term1 badminton games on 4th February 2025.

In the meantime, have a very meaningful and blessed Christmas, enjoy your school and office break, may everyone feel refreshed in time for a very merry New Year!

Term 3 2024 UH Community Badminton has ended last Tuesday September 24.

We will have a 2 week break and Term 4 resumes on Oct 15 2024.

Upper Hutt Community Badminton Term3 is turning to be a good period for all of us! And we appreciate all of you turning out and having a good stretch every week 🤗

But since we only have 5 courts available and an increasing number of players coming every week, we will be capping the number of attendees to 40 each night.

As much as we don’t want to do this, it is to give players a good number of games and minimise wait times in between.

We will be doing a first come first serve approach, so we encourage everyone to come early to get a slot.

But don’t worry, Upper Hutt Badminton doesn't begin and end on a Tuesday, there is another group that does casual games and coaching sessions too so do check them out here at their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61564643351363&mibextid=LQQJ4d

2024 Term3 Upper Hutt Community Badminton will resume again every Tuesday evening starting tomorrow, 23 July from 7-9pm, at Professionals Recreation Hall, Whirinaki Whare Taonga. Entrance is at Brown St, right beside H20Xtreme.

Still at $5 per player and we provide shuttlecocks and you can borrow badminton racquets too!

Again, please be mindful of the hazards around the construction of the H20Xtreme pool when parking at the premise.
