Upper Hutt Fitness is dedicated to providing you with the support to enable you to reach your goals, providing you with great facilities in addition to excellent customer service. We welcome men, women and youth of all ages, any ethnicity and people of all fitness levels. Although we have a separate women’s area, workout room and entrance, our ladies are a welcome part of the gym. Our members are

treated with the respect they deserve and we look forward to being there with you to share your health and fitness journey. With 24 hour access available, the gym is also open to the public 7 days a week.

Looking for a fun challenge while supporting a great cause? The Wellington Marathon events are almost here and there’s something for everyone!

Whether you're keen to take on the Half marathon, the 10km, or get the kids involved in the Kids Magic Mile, it’s a fantastic way to move your body, challenge yourself and be part of an amazing community event.

Even better — the event supports fundraising for the Heart Foundation of New Zealand, helping raise awareness and funds for heart health across Aotearoa. ❤️

Tip : Just start

You don't have to be great to start, but you do have to start to become great. The hardest part of any fitness journey is taking the first step. Whether you're returning after a break or starting for the very first time, today is the perfect day to begin. One workout won't change your life. But the habit of showing up will.

Tip: Make it easy to get started -warm clothes, bag packed, no barriers.
Half the battle in winter is just getting out the door.
Lay your clothes out the night before. Pack your gym bag early. Dress warm so you’re not negotiating with the cold.
The fewer decisions you have to make in the moment, the easier it is to show up. Reduce friction, increase consistency.

This weekend our team will be volunteering at Relay For Life, supporting an amazing cause and helping make a difference in our community.

Because of this, the gym will be unstaffed over King’s Birthday Weekend so the team can have a well-earned break. The gym will remain open as normal for all 24/7 members.
