End of season wrap up for 56w.

Despite the horrific weather at Wellington the season went well for me. Car was improving every meeting and managed some really good times. I even got to race as a superstock for one night. I had a few wall rides and enjoyed some push and shove with my clubmates.

I was awarded Most Improved Stockcar Driver but unfortunately I was unable to make it to the prizegiving. Thanks to Harrison Hocking for collecting my trophy 🏆.

A few other thanks for the season:

Update from Demo Derby 7 April 2024

A fun nights racing at Wellington Family Speedway. Weather was spot on and it was great to see the club put on a charity event with heaps of activities for families.

Tony headed out along with about 35 others in the last race of the night. Track was well watered 🤣🤣 so controlling the cars was a challenge.

He managed to get into the swing of things, hit a few cars, got spun a few times, got forced over the 'optional' ramp and spun out a few more times.

After about 6-7 laps the sherrifs gave him a good shunt and he was on the infield, finished for the night. A great top 10 finish.

We still managed to get the car on the trailer so maybe good for another derby.

MODS and MINIS..... and stockcars! We are racing at Wellington Family Speedway tonight in a support class for Mods and Ministocks champs.

There are going to be some TQs in display near the clubrooms, we are definitely going to be looking at these little rockets.
